" An extravagant political columnist marries a good-natured sports reporter: It takes a lot of goodwill and love on both sides until the marriage is finally happy. Humorous Comedy, effectively celebrated. "

"This immensely entertaining comedy - is memorable as the scene in which she tries to understand her first live baseball game - was the start of one of the happiest Star combinations of film history. Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy complemented each other perfectly. "
