Yangpu District

Yangpu (杨浦 区Yángpǔ Qū ) is one of the ten "inner" municipalities in the Chinese -administered city of Shanghai.

He has 1,081,693 inhabitants (2003 ) on an area of ​​60.73 square kilometers. The population density is 17,812 people per square kilometer. In Yangpu District, there are two of the most prestigious universities in China, Fudan University (复旦大学) and a campus (of two) of Tongji University (同济大学).
