Zheng (state)

Zheng (Chinese郑/郑, Pinyin Zheng ) was an ancient city-state in the period of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the time of the Spring and Autumn Annals and the time of the Warring States during the Zhou in central China in a field, which today belongs to the province of Henan.

The state was founded in 806 BC by Duke Huan of Zheng and was 375 BC by the State Han (韩) annexed.

Zheng was initially in the eastern part of today's Huaxian (华 県/华县) founded on the territory of today's Shaanxi Province and later eastward to the present Xinzheng Shi (新郑 市, Xinzheng Shì ) laid on the area of ​​today's Henan Province. The new name was Zheng Xinzheng (新郑, Xinzheng, Zheng new ').
