Zoran Lukić

Zoran Lukić ( born November 27, 1956 in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a former Yugoslav football player who now works as a coach. With Djurgårdens IF he won several national titles in Sweden.

Career

Playing career

Lukić began his career in the adult area at FK Sarajevo in his hometown. On the side of players like Safet Sušić, Ante Rajković Mirza Kapetanović, Edhem sljivo, Predrag Pašić or Husref Musemić he ran after his debut in the season of 1973/74 in the following years in the highest Yugoslav Game class. In the male-dominated mainly by Serb and Croat teams championship, the club played the mid-1970s partly to avoid relegation to the second division. Towards the end of the decade strengthened the team from Sarajevo and underwent a second successful period in the club's history, as after a fourth place in the season 1978/79 the following season behind FK Red Star Belgrade was the runner-up earned. In subsequent seasons, the club moved several times in the European Cup, reaching the 1983 Cup final. In the 2:3 - final defeat against Dinamo Zagreb Lukić did not come under coach Bosko Antic used.

Coaching career

As of 1989, covered Lukić at Nykvarns IF the office of a player coach. After he had hung up his boots in 1991 on the nail, he joined the Stockholm club Djurgårdens IF. In his first Coach of the Year, he led the team to ninth place in the standings before they got to the beginning of the following year, in danger of relegation. Then, the club released him mid-May 2006 and replaced him with Sören Börjesson. Next stop was Qviding FIF. The second division relegated, he led in the third league season 2007 season back as winners in the south before Ängelholms FF in the second division. Then, his contract was extended in October of this year.

After his former coach station Djurgårdens IF had fallen into the premier league 2008 season in danger of relegation, was remembered at the club on the successes under Lukić. In a coaching duo with Andrée Jeglertz he should lead the club back to its former strength and was therefore recruited in December 2008 by Qviding FIF. The boom did not materialize, so that Lukić his post gave back after half a year. In September of that year he returned to Qviding FIF, to work as part of a training team.
