Zoumana Bakayogo

Zoumana Bakayoko ( born August 11, 1986 in Paris, France) is an Ivorian football player who is under contract with the English second division Leicester City since 2013.

Career

Association

Bakayoko began his career at the Centre de Formation de Football de Paris and moved in 2000 to the U.S. Torcy. In 2001 he left the U.S. Torcy and signed a contract with Paris Saint- Germain. He first played here but only in the reserve, but was pulled up for 2004/2005 season in the first team. However Bakayoko could not sit down and was no match for PSG in Ligue 1 In conclusion, he left France in August 2006 and signed a contract with FC Millwall. In January 2007 he was loaned for four months at Brighton & Hove Albion, but came to no game due to injury. In April 2007 he returned to Millwall back where he played 10 Games up to 2006, before he signed in January 2009, at Union de la Jeunesse Arménienne de Paris. In August 2009, he completed a trial with Football League One team Tranmere Rovers, where he signed a contract on October 1.

National

Born in France, played for the land of his forefathers, Ivory Coast, four games for the U- 23 in the qualification for the Olympic Summer Games 2008 in Beijing.
