2011 Carisap Tennis Cup

The Carisap Tennis Cup 2011 was the seventh edition of clay tennis court tournament in San Benedetto del Tronto. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was discharged from the 4th to the 10th of July 2011.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 14 pairs. Thus, since not enough homed pairings for the planned 16- peloton got the two top-seeded doubles a bye for the quarterfinals. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 31 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event was a total of 30,000 €.

In single won the unseeded Romanian Adrian Ungur, who won the final against the unseeded Italian Stefano Galvani also in straight sets. This was the third Challenger singles title of his career and the first this season. Last year's winner Carlos Berlocq of Argentina difference at position one set out in the second round.

In the doubles competition, the top seed Italian pair consisting of Alessio di Mauro and Alessandro Motti won the final against their unseeded compatriots Daniele Giorgini and Stefano Travaglia in the match tie-break. This was di Mauris seventh and twelfth Motti's doubles title on the ATP Challenger Tour. In addition, it was the second or third title of the season, but they both obtained with different partners. It was a total her second common title. Last year's winners Thomas Fabbiano from Italy and Gabriel Trujillo -Soler from Spain both did not occur to defend their title.
