2011 Morocco Tennis Tour – Casablanca
The Morocco Tennis Tour Casablanca 2011 was the first edition of clay tennis court tournament in Marrakech. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011, as well as the Morocco Tennis Tour in 2011 and was held from 19 to 26 February 2011 in the open.
The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. For the individual tournament, a qualifying round with 32 participants took place in the run-up in which four players were able to qualify for the main draw. The prize money of the event was a total of 30,000 €.
Due to a flu the set at position one German Denis Gremelmayr had to cancel his participation in the individual competition. It won the unseeded Russian Yevgeny Donskoi, who won the final against the set at position seven Italians Alessio di Mauro in three sets. This was the first Challenger singles title of his career.
In the doubles competition, the unseeded Spanish pair set consisting of Guillermo Alcaide and Adrián Menéndez in the final against the top-seeded Leonardo Tavares of Portugal and Simone Gnozzi from Italy in two sets by. This was for both the first title in a doubles tournament of the Challenger category of their career.
