2011 Sparkassen Open

The Sparkassen Open 2011 was a tennis tournament, which until July 3, 2011 was held from June 27 in Brunswick. It was the 18th edition of the tournament and part of the ATP Challenger Tour 2011 and the HEAD German Masters Series 2011. Played outdoors on red sand.

The individual competition was won by Lukáš Rosol set at position three, of the qualifier Evgeny Donskoy defeated in the final. Last year's winner Mikhail Kukushkin entered into this year not to defend his title. In doubles, the top-seeded Martin Emmrich and Andreas Siljeström were able to prevail in the final against the unseeded Olivier Charroin and Stéphane Robert. The winning pairing of last year Leonardo Tavares / Simone Vagnozzi did not start in this constellation. While Vagnozzi not participated in the tournament, Tavares fail with his new partner Frederico Gil in the semifinals.

The field of the individual competition consisted of 32 players, double that of the competition from 16 pairs. Ahead there was a competition in the double injury-related cancellation. Alexander Waske could not compete with Michael Kohlmann due to a hip injury. Single finalist Evgeny Donskoy with partner Marsel İlhan replaced the pairing in the main field.
