2011 Orange Open Guadeloupe

The Orange Open Guadeloupe 2011, the first edition of the hard court tennis tournament in Le Gosier. It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour in 2011 and was held from 14 to 19 March.

In the individual - as in the doubles competition could not be reached the full number of participants. In individual is thus 24 players faced each other, which meant that the eight seeded players received a bye to the second round. In doubles to 12 pairings found a, whereby the three top-seeded pairs reached the quarter-finals without a fight. The prize money of the event was $ 100,000.

Winner of the individual competition was the unseeded Belgian Olivier Rochus, who defeated unseeded Frenchman Stephane Robert to also in straight sets in the final. It was Rochus ' seventh Challenger singles title of his career and the first and only season.

Rochus and Robert were also face the final of the doubles competition. Here, Robert sat by with his Italian partner Riccardo Ghedin in the match tie-break as a wildcard owner against Rochus, who took with Arnaud Clément. This was Roberts fifth success in a doubles tournament of the Challenger category of his career and the first in five years. For Ghedin it was the first title on the ATP Challenger Tour.
