Collecorvino

Collecorvino is a 5942 inhabitants and 32 km ² comprehensive community near Loreto Aprutino Cappelle sul Tavo and and is located in the province of Pescara.

Borders the following municipalities: Cappelle sul Tavo, Città Sant'Angelo, Elice, Loreto Aprutino, Moscufo and Picciano.

History

The origins of the town date from the 11th century, when Corbino Longobardo settled on a hill east of Loreto Aprutino and fortified the village, which he called " Corvino ". The area developed in the 19th century, there were almost all houses completely renovated. The city has its medieval town center can get for the most part. The churches of San Andrea Apostolo and San Rocco date from the 15th and 16th centuries.
