Scafa is a 3856 population of 10.09 km ² and comprehensive community near Turrivalignani and Alanno and is located in the province of Pescara.

Borders the following municipalities: Abbateggio, Alanno, Bolognano, Lettomanoppello, San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore, Torre de ' Passeri and Turrivalignani.

History

The municipality is autonomous since 1948, before the village was a fraction of the neighboring municipality of San Valentino in Abruzzo Citeriore.

Attractions

The Church of Madonna del Carmelo is one of the attractions of the village. Interestingly, the architecture of the church and the modern town hall. Another attraction are the archaeological finds from the Roman period. They found remains of Roman roads.

Specialty

In the surroundings of the village vines of Montepulciano for the DOC - cultivated wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.
