David S. Mann

David Scott Mann ( born September 25, 1939 in Cincinnati, Ohio ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party. He was from 1993 to 1995 a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the 1st Congressional District of the State of Ohio. From 1979 to 1980, and in 1991 he was mayor of Cincinnati.

Biography

In 1961 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree, having studied at Harvard University. Then he served until 1965 in the U.S. Navy. After he had completed the service, he went to Harvard University and graduated again in 1968 with a degree from. He settled in Cincinnati and opened a law practice.

From 1972 to 1974 he sat in the Health Committee of the city of Cincinnati. In 1974 he was elected then to the City Council ( City Council ), which he served until 1992. During his time on the city council, he was from 1979 to 1980 and again in 1991 the mayor. In 1993 he took over from Charlie hatches the seat in the House of Representatives. He served only one term. He was not elected to the House the election results of the 1994 election. Steve Chabot, succeeded him.
