Tim Ryan (politician)

Timothy John " Tim " Ryan (born 16 July 1973 in Niles, Ohio ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party. Since January 3, 2003, he is a member of the House of Representatives of the United States. First, he represented the 17th Congressional District of the State of Ohio, January 3, 2013, 13th District.

Biography

Tim Ryan was born in Niles in the U.S. state of Ohio. His high school graduation, he graduated from the John F. Kennedy High School in Warren. In 1995 he completed his studies in political science at Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts. At the University of New Hampshire, he graduated in 2000 with a Juris Doctor from. During his studies he was in the mid -1990s, employees on the staff of Congressman James Traficant. From 2001 to 2002 he sat in the Senate of Ohio.

In the congressional elections in 2002 Ryan was elected to succeed James Traficant as the representative of the 17th district of Ohio in the U.S. House of Representatives. His seat he defended each successful in the subsequent congressional elections. Ryan sits in the Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on the Budget.
