Pat Tiberi

Patrick Joseph " Pat" Tiberi ( born October 21, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio ) is an American politician of the Republican Party. Since 2001 he is a member of the House of Representatives of the United States for the 12th Congressional District of the State of Ohio.

Biography

Tiberi is the son of Italian immigrants. He attended the Woodward Park Middle School before making his high school degree at Northland High School. After graduating, he attended the Ohio State University on a journalism degree. This he finished in 1985 successfully. During his studies, he was a member of the Ohio State University Marching Band, a band that aufspielte for larger events. Before he was elected to the House of Representatives from Ohio in 1993, he worked as a real estate agent for a subsidiary of RE / MAX.

Since 2001, Tiberi represents the 12th Congressional District of Ohio in the U.S. House of Representatives. He succeeds John Kasich. In the following six congressional elections he could defend each with a comfortable lead his seat in the House. Tiberi sitting in the influential Committee on Ways and Means.
