East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana

The East Baton Rouge Parish (French: Paroisse de Bâton Rouge Est) is a parish located in the state of Louisiana in the United States. In the census in 2010, the Parish had 440,171 inhabitants and a population density of 372.7 inhabitants per square kilometer. The administrative headquarters ( Parish Seat) is Baton Rouge.

History

The East Baton Rouge Parish was formed in 1810 from parts of the West Florida territory.
