George Bonhag

George V. Bonhag ( born January 31, 1882 in Boston, † October 30, 1960 in New York City ) was one of the best middle and long distance runner of his time. He became the first Olympic champion in walking.

At the Olympic Games in 1904 Bonhag remained in the 800 -meter run with no result.

At the 1906 Summer Olympics Bonhag was fourth in the five-mile run.
