The list of the largest companies in the United States contains published by Forbes Magazine in the Forbes Global 2000 list of the largest publicly traded companies in the United States. Largest listed companies

The ranking of the annual list of the 2,000 largest publicly traded companies in the world is calculated from a combination of sales, net profits, assets and market value. The rankings of the companies were tallied in the equally weighted categories to a rank. Listed in the table are also the headquarters and the branch. The figures are in billions of U.S. dollars and relate to the fiscal year 2007, the market value on the market price of 29 February 2008.

The rank of 262 was assigned in the Forbes Global 2000 list twice.

The largest non-listed companies

The table contains the published by Forbes Magazine in the list of " America's Largest Private Companies" largest unlisted companies in the country, with its headquarters, sales, number of employees and the industry. The figures are in billions of U.S. dollars and are for the fiscal year 2008.
