Marika Kilius

Marika Kilius ( born March 24, 1943 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a former German figure skater and roll, which was successful in both the World Championships and at the Olympic Winter Games in pair skating. In their short recording career she was also successful.

Sports career

Age of four learned Kilius roller skating and was 15 ½ years Roller Figure Skating World Champion, the youngest German World Champion of all time. With Franz Ningel it was from 1955 to 1957 German champion in artistic roller skating couples.

Born the daughter of a hairdresser in Frankfurt, Marika Kilius began figure skating at first as individual runners, but moved early to the pair of running. My first partner was Franz Ningel.
