Sándor Puhl

Sándor Puhl (* July 14, 1955 ) is a former Hungarian football referee.

He headed the final of the soccer World Cup 1994 between Brazil and Italy, the semi-finals of the European Football Championship in 1996 between England and Germany, as well as the final of the European Champions League 1997 between Borussia Dortmund and Juventus. Puhl was four times appointed by the IFFHS World referee ( 1994-1997).

Since end of his career as an active referee is the Hungarian member of the FIFA Referees Committee.
