Aron Schmidhuber

Aron Schmidhuber ( born February 28, 1947 in Ottobrunn ) is a former German football referee.

Schmidhuber initiated a total of 143 games in the Bundesliga and was also a FIFA referee. He led a total of 26 A- internationals. In the 1990 World Cup in Italy, he came in two games for use (England - Ireland 1:1, Spain - Yugoslavia 1:2 aet ), at the European Championships in Sweden in 1992, he led the game Denmark against Sweden. Schmidhuber could derive no other games in these tournaments, as the German national team was at both tournaments in the final and they therefore renounced German referee in the knockout round. In addition, Schmidhuber acted in each one game of the 1990 World Cup and the European Championship in 1988 as a line judge.

Aron Schmidhuber headed over 100 international games. Among the final were in the European Cup of Champions 1991/92 match between FC Barcelona and Sampdoria at Wembley Stadium in London, the UEFA Cup final in 1990 Juventus against Fiorentina and the UEFA Super Cup final for FC Porto against Ajax Amsterdam in 1987.
