1996 European Cross Country Championships
The 3rd European Cross Country Championships were held in the EAA Charleroi ( Belgium) on 15 December 1996.
The men started about 9.65 km, 4.55 km over the women.

Individual classification
All 100 launched athletes crossed the finish line.

All 75 athletes started reaching the goal. The first place winner Romanian Iulia Negură was disqualified for doping with stanozolol.
