2011 European Cross Country Championships

The 18th European Cross Country Championships were held in the EAA Velenje on December 11, 2011. The Slovenian city was the second time after 1999 Gastgeberort the EM.

The race took place on a large round of 1500 m and a small round of 500 m on the southern shore of Lake Velenje. The men coped with six large and two small rounds ( 10 km), the women and U23 men five large and a small round ( 8 km), the U23 women and juniors four large laps (6 miles) and the junior two large and two small rounds ( 4 km).
