2002–03 UEFA Women's Cup

The UEFA Women's Champions League 2002/2003 was the second playout of the European Champion competition for women's football clubs. It was won by Swedish club Umea IK. In the finals, which will henceforth be played in home and away matches, the Swedes prevailed against the Danish champions Fortuna Hjørring. The German champion first FFC Frankfurt failed in the semifinals later in the titleholders. The representatives from Switzerland and Austria are excreted in the first round.

Qualification

The master of the four weakest classified associations determine an empty seat in the first round. Tournament in Velenja (Slovenia).

Preliminary round

The remaining 31 national champion and the winner of the qualification were divided into eight groups. A team in the group hosted the tournament. The eight group winners progress to the quarter -finals.
