2004 UCI Road World Championships
The 71 UCI Road World Championships 2004 took place from 27 September to 3 October in the northern Italian city of Verona instead. We have extended a total of ten decisions in the disciplines of time trial and road race, as well as in the categories of Women, Men, U23, Junior Men and Junior Women.
The road race took place on a 14.75 km long circuit around Verona. The start and finish were at the Piazza Bra in the city, at an altitude of 59 meters. The challenging course led up to Torricelle to 260 meters and back to downtown. The time trial competitions were held not in Verona itself, but in the town of Bardolino on Lake Garda.
