2005 Tour de Suisse

The 69th Tour de Suisse was held to 19 June 2005 of 11. She was discharged in nine stages over a distance of 1355 kilometers.

Overall winner Aitor Gonzalez. This was before the last leg still in fourth place with a gap of 36 seconds on Michael Rogers. On the rise to the last pass, the Furka Pass, but the Spaniard was able to depend Australian and won the overall title by a margin of only 22 seconds.

The third stage was in the Austrian resort St. Anton am Arlberg. The fact that the Tourist Board of the State of Tyrol was one of the main sponsors, caused quite a stir. Thus, in the typical Swiss ski resorts Arosa, steering and Verbier advertising for holidays in Tyrol was omnipresent.
