2009–10 HockeyAllsvenskan season
The 2009/10 season was the eleventh season of the HockeyAllsvenskan as the second highest Swedish hockey league.

Mode
In the main round, the 14 teams completed 52 games each. The top four teams in the HockeyAllsvenskan qualified for the Kvalserien in which they met the two last placed the Elitserien, the two winners of Kvalserien were allowed to play in the following season in the Elitserien. While the first three of HockeyAllsvenskan were directly qualified for the Kvalserien, the teams recent Kvalserien participants played in the squares 4-7 in playoff mode among themselves. The two last placed the HockeyAllsvenskan had in the relegation round against the four best teams in the Division 1 start, with the two winners got to play in the following season in the HockeyAllsvenskan.
For one victory after regulation time, each team received three points for a win after overtime or shootout, there were two points in a defeat after overtime or shootout there was a point and a defeat after regular time zero points.
