2010–11 Belgian Cup

The Belgian FA Cup 2010/11 started on 24 July 2010 the first group matches and ended on 21 May 2011 with the final in Brussels. A total of 294 teams took part. In the first two rounds only played clubs from leagues below the 3rd Division. In the third round of the second division clubs of the 3rd Division were added in the fourth round. The clubs in the first division started in the 6th round. By the second round, all matches were played in only one game. Stand it tied after 90 minutes, followed by an extension and possibly a penalty shootout. In the quarter and semi-finals, there was a return game. Had both teams score the same number of goals after the return game was the away goals rule, scored the same number away Goals followed by an extension and possibly a penalty shootout. The finale took place in Brussels in the King Baudouin Stadium. Standard Liege was a 2-0 against KVC Westerlo Belgian Cup Winners' Cup for the sixth time.
