2010 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships

The Gymnastics European Championships 2010 found from April 21 to May 2 the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham instead. Because of the disabilities in the European air traffic by the eruption of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull the European Championships the men started a day later than planned. The men's teams from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus still not reached due to visa problems the venue on time. Also missing the Turner from Georgia and Israel. For the first time in European Championship history, the German team was able to secure the title in the all around and also for Marcel Nguyen handed it to the first individual medal at the European Championships. On Reck was Vlassios Maras after 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2009 for the fifth time European champion and also Yann Cucherat successfully defended his European title in 2009 on the parallel bars.
