2012–13 Liga II

The League II 2012/13 was the 73rd season of the second Romanian football league. She began September 1, 2012 and ended on June 5, 2013. From early December 2012 to early March 2013 rested the game operation ( winter break ). Up in the League 1 were Corona Braşov, ACS Poli Timişoara, FC Botosani and SAGEATA Năvodari.

Mode

The League II was fought in two squadrons, each with 14 teams. The two teams in every season were promoted to the Football League 1, while the three last-place teams had to stay in the League III. Second teams of first division club, clubs, which had been established less than three years, as well as associations with tax liabilities were not entitled to advancement. For a victory, there were three points, one for a draw and no points for a defeat. Case of a tie at the end of the season not the goal difference, but the direct comparison decided.

Results

Season 1

The Season 1 only played with 14 teams, as the team of Astra II Giurgiu and Callatis Mangalia had dissolved before the first matchday.

Season 2

The Season 2 only played with 14 teams, as the FC Timişoara and FC Olt Slatina had dissolved before the season starts.
