2013 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour

The FIVB World Tour 2013, the men consisted of 14 tournaments, of which ten discharged as a Grand Slam and three as open. The World Cup took place until July 7 in Stare Jablonki in Poland of 2.

Open Fuzhou, China 23 bis April 27, 2013

For the main field Erdmann / Matysik, Dollinger / Windscheif and Brink / Fuchs were set. Brink / Fuchs documents in the first round of the Russian team Prokopjew / Bogatow and finished the tournament with a 17th place. Erdmann / Matysik failed in the second round by Pedro / Bruno ( BRA) and occupied the ninth place. The last German team, Dollinger / Windscheif subject in the third round of the Brazilians Ricardo / Álvaro Filho and finished fifth. In the match for third place the set on 32 Austrian Huber / Seidl were successful 2-0 against the Brazilians Ricardo / Álvaro Filho. The final was won 2-0 against the Italians Nicolai / Lupo for the American duo Rosenthal / Dalhausser.

Shanghai Grand Slam, China, April 30 bis May 4, 2013

For Shanghai five German duo were reported. The team Brink / Fuchs received while a wild card for the main draw. In addition Erdmann / Matysik, Dollinger / Windscheif and Koreng / Walkenhorst played in 32- he main field. Böckermann / Urbatzka reached on the qualifications also the main draw. All five German teams survived the pool phase with Erdmann / Matysik were first in their pool and so standing right in the second round. Koreng / Walkenhorst subject in the first round of the Swiss Chevallier / Kovatsch and occupied the 17th place. In the second round Erdmann / Matysik subject the team Böckermann / Urbatzka and were ninth. With a 0-2 loss against the U.S. americans Gibb / Patterson Dollinger / Windscheif were also ninth. Corrientes Grand Slam, Argentina 22 bis May 26, 2013

For the main field, the German duo Brink / Fuchs, Erdmann / Matysik and Dollinger / Windscheif were qualified. Koreng / Walkenhorst reached the main draw through the qualifying round, but dropped out in the first round against Ricardo / Álvaro Filho and reached the 17th place. Brink / Fuchs completed the pool phase with three defeats on the 25th place. For Erdmann / Matysik the blow came in the second round with the ninth. Dollinger / Windscheif finished the tournament in fifth place and the off in the third round.

The Hague Grand Slam, The Netherlands 11 bis June 16, 2013

In the main round Erdmann / Matysik and Dollinger / Windscheif started. Since Brink was injured in the Smart Beach Tour in Münster, Fox stepped in with the Kaczmarek, with whom he played his first in 2003 Beach Tournaments and won the title at the U18 World Championship in Pattaya Thailand. Stare Jablonki World Cup, Poland Geneva, 2 to July 7, 2013

The German Volleyball Federation was represented by the four teams Erdmann / Matysik, Dollinger / Windscheif and Böckermann / Urbatzka. Since Brink could also not play due to an injury, his partner fox came again with Kaczmarek. Except for the team Fuchs / Kaczmarek all German teams reached the round of 32 On this round, Dollinger / Windscheif had to give the team Šmēdiņš / Samoilovs beaten. Gstaad Grand Slam, Switzerland between 9 and July 14, 2013

At the Grand Slam in Gstaad Brink could not participate again because of his already multi-week injury. His partner Fuchs played so together with Koreng. Despite a defeat in the qualifiers, the duo managed as a "lucky loser" made it into the main round, but dropped out in the first round. In Long Beach only the team Böckermann / Urbatzka was represented in the main field.

In the same time as the Grand Slam in Long Beach held open the German team Bergmann / stem, Betzien / Kaczmarek, Dittelbach / Koreng, Flüggen / Walkenhorst and B. Poniewaz / D. were Poniewaz reported.
