27th César Awards
The 27th ceremony of César found on 2 March 2002 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. President of the ceremony, which was previously moderated as the year of Édouard Baer, was the actress Nathalie Baye.
Jean -Pierre Jeunet's The Fabulous Destiny of Amelie Poulain was a total of twelve nominations from the big favorite of the evening and ultimately received four César Awards for Best Film, Best Director, the Best Original Score and Best Production Design. Audrey Tautou, in Jeunet's film managed their international breakthrough with the title role, was defeated at the end of Emmanuelle Devos in lip service.
