History

The Division was established on 1 April 1887, had her command to the demobilization and resolution in September 1919 in Dresden's Albert City.

World War I

During World War II, the division was exclusively on the Western Front in use. There parts of the United Association were involved in the August 23, 1914 in the massacre of Dinant.
