Adrian Constantin Neaga ( born June 4, 1979 in Pitesti, Arges county ) is a former Romanian football player. The striker played a total of 286 games in the Romanian Liga 1, the South Korean K -League, the Azerbaijani Premyer Liqasi and the Ukrainian Premjer - Liha. In 2005, he won the Romanian championship with Steaua Bucharest.

Career

The career of Adrian Neaga began in 1997 in his home town of Pitesti, when he aufrückte in the squad for the first team FC Arges Pitesti. On 1 April 1998 he arrived there his first appearance in Divizia A (now League 1), the highest Romanian league. In his first season he came in Arges hardly to the course. Shortly after the start of the 1998/99 season he was therefore lend to local rivals Dacia Pitesti in the Divizia B.

After the season he returned to Arges and was in the 1999/2000 season win a regular place. In 2001 Neaga left the club and moved to Steaua Bucharest. With Steaua he played though always for the championship with, but they could not win. In the summer of 2003 Neaga moved to Saudi Arabia to Al -Nasr. This change was short-lived, because after 20 days, he was discharged and returned to Steaua. The following two seasons were the most successful of his career. First he scored in the 2003/04 season with 13 hits, the best strike rate of his career, in the 2004/05 season he won the Romanian championship and make it to the knockout round of the UEFA Cup.

In the summer of 2005 Neaga moved to South Korea to Chunnam Dragons in the K-League. After a few years he moved to Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, where he won the South Korean Championships in 2006. In the summer of 2007 he returned to Romania and signed again with Steaua Bucharest. After he was hardly used in the 2008/ 09 season in the first round to use, he moved to Azerbaijan Neftchi Baku. There he was able to continue his former goalscoring, but not on earlier successes. In the summer of 2010 Neaga returned again to Romania and joined Unirea Urziceni on before moving to the Ukrainian first division club Volyn Lutsk end of August 2010. There he came in the 2010/11 season only four bets and returned in the summer of 2011 back to Romania, where he promoted CS Mioveni joined. There he finished after relegation in 2012 at the end of his active career.

National

Neaga played six games for the Romanian national football team, without being able to score a goal. After his debut against Algeria on 5 December 2000, he had to wait for more missions until 2004. His last international game he played on 17 November 2004 as part of the qualification for the World Cup 2006 against Armenia.
