AGM-76 Falcon

Developed by Hughes AGM -76 Falcon is a further development of the AIM -47 Falcon. In contrast to this, the AGM -76 should not serve as air - to-air missile, but as air -to-ground missile.

Many data on the AGM -76 Program are unknown to this day, much is therefore speculative. However, it seems certain that it was at the Falcon to a long-range air -to-ground missile, which was equipped with the seeker of the AGM -45 Shrike and a about 113 kg warhead. As a carrier aircraft, the Lockheed YF -12 and North American F -108 were provided.
