History
Originally Wolinski wrote the song commissioned by Quincy Jones for Michael Jackson's Thriller album, but because of a promise with the producer of hits Russ Titelman went the song on Rufus and Chaka Khan.
Is not Nobody was released on 4 November 1983 and became the English-speaking area of a small success. Five years later, after Khan's reputation had risen, made it a hit in 1989 with a re-release even to enter the Top Ten of the German Charts.
The piece is 4:40 minutes long, appeared on the albums Stompin 'at the Savoy and Life is a Dance - The Remix Project. On the B - side is a remix version of the song.
