Aleksandr Kirichenko

Aleksandr Kirichenko (Russian Александр Александрович Кириченко; born August 13, 1967 in Kiev ) is a former Ukrainian cyclist.

Kirichenko was racing cyclist and a specialist in the 1000 -m time trial. In 1988 he was at the Summer Olympic Games in Seoul in the jersey of the Soviet national Olympic champion in the 1000 - m time trial in a time of 1:04,499 minutes. He finished third at the World Cycling Championships, 1990 World Champion in 1989 in the same discipline. After that, he was for some years actively without much success; at the Summer Olympics in Barcelona in 1992, he was twelfth.
