Alex Gopher

Alex Gopher, whose real name is Alexis Latrobe, is a French DJ and producer of electronic music.

He made his debut with the band Orange, whose other members were known as Air later and had intensive contact with Étienne de Crécy. After dissolution of the group Gophers took a job as a sound engineer in the studio Translab. In another episode, he continues to work with Etienne de Crécy and Air together, was published in 1999 but also his first album You, My Baby and I.

2001 Yves Saint Laurent asked him three titles for his Yves ' catwalk show to compose. From this it finally arose ten pieces, of which the artist created Demon "club ready ' remixes and published with him on the album Wuz.

In the self-titled album Alex Gopher was made in 2006 for a return to the time of the band Orange. The style of music is more heavily influenced by rock and pop and is inspired by New Order and The Cure.

In addition, Alex Gopher has produced over the years, numerous remixes and EPs from the Generes funk, house and electro.

His song " Brain Leech ( Bugged Mind Remix) " is played in the published 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV on the radio station "Electro Choc ".
