Amber Mountain National Park
The National Park Montagne d' Ambre is a national park in Madagascar, which was reported in 1958. Its area is 18,200 hectares and it is located at an altitude 1000-1445 m. The best way to reach it from Antsiranana 30 km south to Ambohitra ( Joffreville ). The site is a rock massif of volcanic origin with several waterfalls and volcanic lakes, with many species of birds, lemurs ( Propithecus verreauxi, Lemur fulvus) and orchids.
