Title of the album

In an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Yusuf Islam responded to the question of the title of the album with " A small grammatical quirk. I wanted people to understand that this record is really An Other Cup. Not just another cup (another cup ), but: another cup ( an other cup, unusual spelling in English ). [ ... ] The cup can also be found on the cover of the album Tea for the Tillerman in 1970, my most famous album, and this little space to show that something has happened since then. That we live in a different world. This CD is a new step, some consider it a very bold step. I'm building a bridge and try to walk on it. Many people are afraid to enter this bridge. "

Below it, the symbol of the coffee cup as a reference "to the hidden treasures of Islamic civilization. Coffee houses, cafes, bars, today we see at every turn, are an invention of Muslims. They existed already in the 15th century in Istanbul and even earlier in Yemen. So the cup is a symbol of what we share. "
