Antique (province)
Antique is a province on the island of Panay, which belongs to the island nation of the Philippines. Antique has an area of 2729.17 km ² and 546 031 inhabitants (as of 1 May 2010). The provincial capital is San Jose de Buenavista. To the east of the province of the Central Panay Mountains lie the rise to over 2,000 meters above sea level.
Language
Hamtikan and Ilonggo is the language in the southern region around the capital San Jose. In the north, Kinaray -a is spoken.
Attractions
In the Region Antique these places are worth a visit: Danawan Cave, Panao Lake and Pula Waterfalls. In the north the Antiques Bugang River ( one of the cleanest rivers in the Philippines ), next to the white- golden sandy beach ( Phaidon Beach ) in Tingib / Duyong, Pandan. A sunken coral garden ( Punta Pucio ) is located in Libertad. Located south of Igpasungaw Waterfall ( Sebaste ), the island is to snorkel and dive offer in Mararison, Batbatan, Maniguin and Caluya Islands. Parts of the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park are in the province.

Economy
Rice, coconut, wheat and mango are the agricultural products of the province.
Marble, coal, chromium, and magnetic sand are the existing natural resources.
