Antique (province)

Antique is a province on the island of Panay, which belongs to the island nation of the Philippines. Antique has an area of ​​2729.17 km ² and 546 031 inhabitants (as of 1 May 2010). The provincial capital is San Jose de Buenavista. To the east of the province of the Central Panay Mountains lie the rise to over 2,000 meters above sea level.

Language

Hamtikan and Ilonggo is the language in the southern region around the capital San Jose. In the north, Kinaray -a is spoken.

Rice, coconut, wheat and mango are the agricultural products of the province.
