Assani Lukimya - Mulongoti (2012 )

Assani Lukimya - Mulongoti ( born January 25, 1986 in Uvira ) is a Congolese football player who also has the German nationality.

Career

Beginnings in Berlin

Lukimya - Mulongoti came in 1994 at the age of eight years from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Berlin. At twelve, he was asked by his neighbor, coach at SV north -northwest, if he wanted to play in his club. He tried, but quickly lost the desire and ended his career back, but continued to play street football. At 15, he entered again into a football club.

He moved in the summer of 2004 from SV Tasmania Berlin Hertha BSC. In his first season he played mostly in the U -19 of the club and played in the adult area, a game in the third-tier Regionalliga for Hertha's second team. For the 2005/06 season Lukimya - Mulongoti rose to the second team and graduated in 21 games this season; 2006/ 07 he finally became a regular player with 32 inserts. In the summer of 2007 he went with Hertha's second team from fourth-rate in the Oberliga West, after which he left the club after a total of two goals scored in 54 Regional inserts.

Hansa Rostock

For the season 2007/ 08 Lukimya - Mulongoti first moved to the Oberliga West and played there for the second team of Hansa Rostock, took his leave soon but also for use in Rostock's first team, which had risen in the previous season in the Bundesliga. So denied Lukimya - Mulongoti on 6 October of the 2007/ 08 Bundesliga against VfL Wolfsburg his debut and got the winter break a valid summer 2008 professional contract. As he reached then with the second team to qualify for from 2008/ 09 only fourth division Regionalliga, he rose to the Bundesliga squad from the 2nd Bundesliga. In March 2009, he was dropped from the first team squad Hansas and only played for the reserve team of Rostock.

About Jena to Dusseldorf

In August 2009 he dissolved his contract in Rostock and moved to third division side FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he was given a contract until the summer of 2010. The fans of FC Carl Zeiss Jena chose him here for player of the season 2009/10.

For the 2010/11 season changed Lukimya - Mulongoti to second division Fortuna Dusseldorf, where he signed a valid contract for both national leagues until 2012. Despite initial mistakes in defense work Lukimya increased its services continuously and soon became an integral part of Düsseldorf's defense. With his now very consistent defense work, he blossomed into a crowd favorite, who was nicknamed "Lucky" in reference to the English word for happy. His achievements eventually aroused the interest of various Bundesliga.

For the 2012/13 season changed Lukimya Mulongoti - free transfer to the 1 FC Cologne and received a valid initially for two year contract. After completing the 1st FC Cologne, which had stood at the time of announcement of the obligation to 13th place in the Bundesliga, had descended the 34th game in the 2nd Bundesliga, lost Lukimya - Mulongotis contract with FC its validity.

Change to Bremen

During the summer break 2012 SV Werder Bremen Lukimya - Mulongoti committed. He signed a three-year contract until 30 June 2015. This application was followed by two more friendlies. Even after these three games Lukimya still received invitations for games of the national team, but he declined this from. So the center-back turned down an invitation to the Africa Cup of 2013 to be able to work out a regular place in the winter break at Werder Bremen can.
