Geographical location

Bayer bei Ergoldsbach located in the northern district of Landshut around 7 km from the B 15, 25 km north-east of Landshut and 35 km southwest of Straubing.

History

Bayer bei Ergoldsbach belonged to Rentamt Landshut and the Kirchberg district court of the Electorate of Bavaria. The Lords of Gumppenberg had an open Hofmark here. In the course of administrative reform in Bavaria, was born with the congregation of 1818, the current community.

Incorporations

In 1945 or 1946, until then independent municipality Gera Bach was incorporated. In 1964 was added moisture. On 1 January 1972 Greilsberg followed. On May 1, 1978 parts of the territory of the municipality Oberköllnbach were reclassified according to Bayer Bach.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of € 814,000 in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted € 264,000.

It was in 1998 according to official statistics in manufacturing and 258 in trade and transport, no social insurance contributions at the workplace. In other areas, were employed to social security at the work of 29 people. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 558 in the manufacturing sector, there were none, the construction sector 4 farms.
