Blue Cow Mountain

Blue Cow is a ski resort with a holiday village that is only operated in the winter. The ski area is located in the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, Australia, in the Snowy River Shire. It is located in the Kosciuszko National Park and operated by the New South Wales Department of Environment and Climate Change.

The Blue Cow ski area is located on the top of Blue Cow Mountain and has nine ski lifts. In winter the area is only accessible by Skitube in a 2.6 -kilometer tunnel, the Blue Cow tunnel, and in the summer only with four-wheel vehicles. The railway connecting the Skitube was put into operation in the year 1987 to Perisher Valley, a year later to Blue Cow. The railway company also handles the logistics of the local restaurants.

The Blue Cow resort is one of the four villages of Perisher Resort.
