The ski resort of Ben Lomond

Ben Lomond is a mountain and a ski resort in northeastern Tasmania. With 1572 m is its highest peak, the Legge's Gate, the second highest mountain in Tasmania. The mountain range is located east of Launceston in Ben Lomond National Park. Apart from Ben Lomond in Tasmania there is still a ski resort on Mount Mawson.

The Ski Village on a plateau is reached via Launceston. The area with numerous trails suitable for hiking in summer tourism. The ski area is well known on account of their serpentine as Jacobs Ladder, unpaved road can be achieved.

The name comes from the mountain Ben Lomond in Scotland.
