Bogdan Pătrașcu

Bogdan Aurelian Pătraşcu ( born May 7, 1979 in Targoviste ) is a Romanian football player. The defensive midfielder has since January 2013 in ACS Clinceni under contract.

Career

The career of Pătraşcu began at the Bucharest club Sportul Studenţesc, where he came in the course of the 1996/97 season in the squad for the first team and on June 7, 1997 played his first game in Divizia A. At the end of the following season, he got off with his club from the highest Romanian league. In the Divizia B he fought his way to a starting place and missed in 2000 as third-placed to return to the top flight.

During the winter break 2000/ 01 Pătraşcu Sportul left and joined the Bulgarian Litex Lovech to A Grupa. With his new club, he won the Bulgarian Cup in 2001. After a year he moved to the beginning of 2002 to Piacenza Calcio in the Italian Serie A. At Piacenza he could not initially prevail and increased only after relegation in 2003 to first-team regular. In the following years, the club placed in the middle of the series B and could play for the first time to the peak in the 2006/07 season, but missed the forth position and the return to the House of Lords.

In the season 2008/ 09 Pătraşcu was initially loaned to Serie A at Chievo Verona, where he came just two inserts. In the second round he played for Calcio Padova in Serie C. There, he managed to climb. After his return to Piacenza, he joined in August 2009 finally to Padua, rose with the club at the end of the season but return post again.

Pătraşcu then returned to Romania to his previous club Sportul Studenţesc back, who had just gained in the League 1. During winter break 2010/11 he finished bottom of the table, joined as Pătraşcu to league rivals Dinamo Bucharest. There, however, he could not prevail, and left the club during the winter break 2011/12 already again. He joined the first division club Astra Ploieşti. In the summer of 2012 he went to league rival Universitatea Cluj. This he left after half a year already and was hired by CS Buftea in the League II, which renamed itself in ACS Clinceni in the summer of 2013.

National

Pătraşcu played two games for the Romanian national football team. National coach Victor Piţurcă appointed him in February 2006 in his squad for a tournament in Cyprus, where he came in the game against Armenia for his first international match on 28 February 2006. A day later he already had his last operation against Slovenia.
