Brad Smyth

Brad Smyth ( born March 13, 1973 in Ottawa, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the Denver Cutthroats in the Central Hockey League since October 2012.

Playing career

The 1.83 m wide winger began his career in 1990 with the London Knights in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, for which he was on the ice for three seasons. Prior to his obligation by the Florida Panthers to the 1995/96 season, he was also active for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the International Hockey League as well as for the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League.

For the Panthers the right shooter graduated to 1998 15 NHL games, then he moved to the Los Angeles Kings, with other stations in the highest North American professional league were the New York Rangers, the Nashville Predators and the Ottawa Senators. In all his years in these teams, however, failed Smyth to create the absolute breakthrough, so he was most of the time at tiefklassigeren farm teams in the IHL and AHL on the ice. In October 2010 he signed a contract with the Belfast Giants of the British Elite Ice Hockey League. After two months he decided in December 2010 to SHC Fassa in the Serie A1 to change. For the 2011/12 season of Canadians has been committed by the French first division club HC Morzine -Avoriaz. In the season 2012/13 he signed a contract with the Denver Cutthroats of the Central Hockey League.

1996 Brad Smyth was also active in Roller Hockey International, the highest North American Inline Hockey League for the Ottawa logger.
