Brennan Evans ( born January 16, 1982 in Camrose, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He currently plays for the Grand Rapids Griffins in the American Hockey League on the position of the defender.

Career

After Evans began his career in unterklassigen Canadian Junior leagues between 1996 and 1999, took him to the end of the 1998/99 season, the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League contract. He came into the playoffs only one use, but belonged in the following two seasons to the permanent staff. This put him exclusively in the farm team for the Iowa Chops. After the exclusion of the Chops of the American Hockey League Evans is for the following season to the Toronto Marlies. Also in Toronto, he was set as a regular player and spent as last year around 200 minutes on the penalty bench. In July 2010 he signed a contract with the St. Louis Blues. Again remained the defender, use in the NHL during the regular season denied, while he regularly came into use at the Peoria Rivermen. In July 2012, the Canadian has been committed by the Grand Rapids Griffins.
