Bryan Adams (ice hockey)

Bryan Adams ( born March 20, 1977 in Fort St. James, British Columbia ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who for the EHC Red Bull Munich plays in the German Ice Hockey League since 2010.

Career

The left winger began his career in 1994 at Prince George Spruce Kings, while studying the natural sciences from 1995 to 1999 he stood for the team from Michigan State University in the play mode of the NCAA on the ice.

After four years of links Sagittarius joined the professional sports, where he first played for the Orlando Solar Bears. During the 1999/2000 season of Canadians, however, was appointed twice to the squad of the NHL Atlanta Thrashers cooperation partner, even though he had previously been selected in any NHL Entry Draft. Another year followed in the unterklassigen International Hockey League, but the attacker was already nine times in the NHL. From 2001 to 2003 Adams played in the American Hockey League for the Chicago Wolves, with whom he - could win the Calder Cup - along with his former teammates Cologne Kamil Piroš. For next season, the striker signed a contract with the Premier League rivals Grand Rapids Griffins.

For the season 2003/ 04 Bryan Adams has been committed by the Iserlohn Roosters of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, whose captain he was appointed in 2004. Since the Canadians studied at the Michingan State University along with the NHL player Mike York, the Roosters York could undertake in the 2004/ 05 lockout season. In the season 2006/ 07 Adams followed his coach and two other Roosters to the Cologne Sharks, in which he wrote until 2009. After missing the playoffs, he signed a new performance-based annual contract. After the end of the season 2009/10 he moved to DEL - Up EHC Munich.

Since 2004, Bryan Adams is married to his wife Nisha with whom he has a child.
