Geographical location

Erlbach located in the southeastern district of Landshut, near the Isar and the Erdinger Moos. Moosburg ( with connections to the A 92 ) is 7 km, 12 km to Landshut, Erding and Freising both 25 km and Munich Airport is nearly 30 km.

History

The village was first mentioned in the 8th century and is older than most major cities in Bavaria. The discovery of many testimonies of Celtic settlement activity show that the area around the town much earlier even owned attraction.

The first written mention of the book took place in the year 759, as a "Noble Chuniperth of Pohe " the Church in his possession gave away " In Pohe " to the Bishop of Freising.
