Bulgarian Football Union

The Bulgarian Football Union ( Bulgarian Български футболен съюз / Bul futbolen Sajus, short BFS) is the Association of Bulgarian football clubs. It was founded on 27 June 1985 in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. Members of the BFS are 44 professional and 490 amateur clubs. The BFS is a registered non-profit association based in Sofia. The FSO is the successor of the Bulgarian Football Federation ( Bulg Българска федерация по футбол / Balgarska Federazija po futbol, ​​short BFF), which existed 1962-1985.
